As one of the world’s largest buyers and retailers of alcoholic beverages, the LCBO—Liquor Control Board of Ontario—while a provincial government enterprise, is synonymous with social joy. With their stores acting as a valuable pillar for local communities, the design strategy for every store is influenced by the local culture and contextual demographics with a common thread of being decidedly customer-centric. The re-opening initiative at the LCBO Laird store marked a significant transformational journey aimed at not just refurbishing the physical space but also reimagining the entire shopping experience.
