When the builders of the new Yankee Stadium were scouting for someone to design their clubhouse, Toronto firm II BY IV DESIGN stepped to the plate.
The obvious question results in the obvious answer. “We never ran into the ballplayers,” says Dan Menchions. “We were working at the new location.” The players of course, were still at the historic old ballpark until opening day, in April 2009, of the new Yankee Stadium, which includes the chic modern club-house designed by Toronto firm II BY IV DESIGN, where Menchions is a partner.
