When Talon International Development, owners of Toronto’s Trump International Hotel & Tower, purchased the parcel of land at the epicentre of Canada’s financial district in 2001, they didn’t know what type of hotel they wanted to build. But, given the coveted real estate, it was clear it would become a landmark destination. Fast forward a decade, and the pricey footprint at Bay and Adelaide has spawned an elegant and sophisticated hotel.
